Course Description
If you are a typical trainer, then you are already a very busy person. You are juggling multiple demands and rarely have any time left over for yourself. Thus, if you want this exercise to make a real difference in your life, you will have to put your health and wellbeing above some of the other demands upon your time.
In this session we will explore some fundamental, existential questions… Deep down inside, what is important to you? What do you want your life to stand for? What sort of qualities do you want to cultivate as a person? How do you want to be in your relationships with others?
Values are our heart’s deepest desires for the way we want to interact with and relate to the world, other people, and ourselves. They are leading principles that can guide us and motivate us as we move through life.
In this session we will:
- Answer some of life’s most tricky questions.
- Work through an exercise, on aspect of life at a time, describing the kind of person you want to be.
- Visualise what is important to you, if we’re to maximise your life and work satisfaction.
- Rank the importance of each aspect of your life and relationships, so we know where to start and where to go next.
- Assess how successful you’ve been in each category to date.
