Course Description

Women generally ask for less money than men, despite often being more competent at their jobs. Let’s change that by looking at who we are, understanding what we’re worth, and then learning some strategies that will be helpful in asking for it!!

In this session:

• We’ll take a deep dive in to the Gender Pay Gap: what it is, and what it isn’t.
• We’ll develop an understanding on why the gap exists, and the multifaceted issues around women’s pay.
• We’ll listen to one woman’s story, turning down a pay rise so that she didn’t feel guilty about spending time with her kids.
• We’ll figure out how much you’re worth
• We’ll brainstorm some strategies to asking for what you’re worth
