This course explores Mag’s Journey from an athlete and runner, to barely being able to function, back to running again. Learn how she did it!




Course Description

Join us on a journey of discovery and redemption, with Mags, who went from being an athlete and runner, to being told she’ll never run again. She suffered a severe injury while birthing her son, one that affected her mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Fortunately for her, Mags was not one to give up without a fight, and after hitting rock bottom (and with zero photos of herself in the first two years of her son’s life), she took control of her health and set about learning as much as she could about birth trauma and returning to exercise.

She not only rehabilitated herself from severe birth trauma, she is now running regularly again! Mags completed our 6-Step Restore Your Core and Pelvic Floor course, as well as From Deep Core Dysfunction to Running Long Distances, then applied the principles to her own training program. Mags is the walking, talking poster child of these systems, the result of these processes, and is now confident enough to show her face in photographs! Mags is participating in her family, as well as looking after herself and filling her cup with the activities she thought she was excluded from forever – not so. These skills are literally life changing.

In this session we talk to Mags herself, and learn from her story. We will go through each step she took to return to running, and also how that turned around her mental health! You can expect to walk away from this session inspired, empowered, and excited about your role as a personal trainer, training women who have suffered birth injuries.
